Spring Fling with the Mazda CX-5

The good people over at Mazda asked me to take their 2019 CX-5 around the city of Atlanta for a week and give my thoughts on the experience.  Knowing that I had my Mom coming in town to visit Atlanta, I thought it’d be great to use her visit as an overall test.

The car was surprisingly quiet, which is a big plus for me, because I hate driving vehicles where you hear every single outside sound. It was also quite roomy and sits fairly high off of the road, both plusses for me.

The vehicle itself is super-aware, with notifications for when the car may lean over into another lane, and signals for when a car is approaching one of your sides to make sure you don’t attempt to change lanes haphazardly.  It takes a while to get used to, but once I did, I welcomed the notices.  I definitely felt safer.

Thanks Mazda for letting me experience the CX-5 and drive my Mom around the city in comfort.
